Enjoy fun and festive activities at this year’s Marylebone Christmas events!
On Thursday 9 November, 3pm - 8pm, Marylebone Village invites you to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season with a festive light switch-on in support of mental health charity partner Mind in Brent Wandsworth and Westminster. This year, there will be a brand new sustainable Christmas lights display lighting up the streets of Marylebone Village for the festive season. There will be a switch on moment for the impressive Christmas lights from the Devonshire Street stage, hosted by BBC London’s Jo Good at 6pm, and a soon to be announced celebrity guest.
Santa Claus is coming to Marylebone Village..
We’re excited to be bringing back the ever popular Santa’s Grotto on Thursday 9th November from 3-7pm. Families can enjoy a magical meet and greet with the jolly man himself who will be ho-ho-hoing and dishing out gifts to children.
Donations will be set at £5, with all proceeds going towards this year’s charity partner Mind in Brent, Wandsworth and Westminster. Just £5 contributes towards funding their diverse community programmes including psychoeducational workshops, creative wellbeing groups, and physical activities. These groups reduce feelings of isolation and empower people to live independently.
Bable candle painting workshops
Join ex primary school teacher, Bianca of Bable, who has been featured in the likes of Vogue, Grazia, Harper’s Bazaar and Stylist, as she hosts three magnificent candle painting workshops where you can create the kind of Christmas candles that bring you joy.
You will be shown how to paint your own beautifully unique tapered dinner candles, which are perfect gifts for loved ones or to keep for yourself. Will you opt for a Christmas green or jolly red candle? How will you choose to decorate...will it be golden snowflakes to spark that festive feeling? The possibilities are limitless!
